Song of the Morning Granola
Ingredients:
Combine these ingredients
6 C. oats
1 C. flour
1 C. almonds, chopped
3/8 C. ground flax                           
1/2 C. sunflower seeds
1 C. cashews
1/2 C. pecans, chopped
3/4 C. walnuts, chopped
Whisk these ingredients and then stir into previous mixture 
7/8 C. safflower oil
7/8 C. honey
1 1/2 tbsp vanilla
1/4 tsp salt                               
1 tbsp cinnamon
1/2 tbsp ginger
1/4 tbsp nutmeg
 
Bake mixture on greased baking pans at 325* for 1/2 hour, turning after 15 minutes.  Turn oven off and open the door and let the pans cool in the oven.  Break up large pieces and enjoy.

NO BAKE ENERGY BITES
A healthy snack!  Prep Time   10 mins
Yield  2 - 3 dozen depending on size
INGREDIENTS
1 cup     DRY OATMEAL (I used smaller quick flakes, not instant)
2/3 cup  TOASTED COCONUT FLAKES
1/2 cup   PEANUT BUTTER
1/2 cup   FLAX SEED (ground) or WHEAT GERM
1/2 cup   CAROB or CHOCOLATE CHIPS optional)
1/3 cup   HONEY or MAPLE SYRUP
1 Tbsp     CHIA SEEDS (optional)
1 tsp        VANILLA
METHOD
Stir all ingredients together until thoroughly mixed. Leave to chill in refrigerator for 1/2 hour.
Roll into balls of what ever size you require.(I used wet hands for this) Store in an airtight container.
Keep in refrigerator.
