Meetings are held on the second and fourth Sunday of every month at 10am in Studio 1219 (an art gallery in downtown Port Huron across from the Post Office) at 1219 Military Street, Port Huron. Doors open at 9:30am. We also meet every Tuesday at Alternative Connections at 104 Huron Boulevard, Marysville (corner of Michigan Avenue, across from Marysville High School) at 7 pm. Doors will open at 6:40pm. Please use back door to enter. Also, our friends of the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship invite us to join with them for meditation on the first and third Sunday of every month at 9am at the Lochiel Kiwanis Community Center, 180 College Street N. Our general area for Buddhist study this year will be Thich Nhat Hanh's book, The Heart of the Buddha's Teaching. On the fourth Sunday of every month, we will discuss the basic principles of Buddhism beginning with the Four Noble Truths and the Eightfold Noble Path. Requests for space and freedom at our meetings prompts us to leave many days open for use as desired in the present moment. Remember that everything is impermanent, including this schedule.
